The Process

In order to achieve a targeted and streamlined result from the entire concept of RPL, we, at RPL Me follow a highly systematic and a step-wise approach for the process. Each of these steps aims to improve confidence and morale of the applicants as well as enhance the level of business results. We firmly believe that organized and integrated RPL processes can help industry and commerce flourish.

You will be required to follow the below listed steps as you decide to get an RPL done for your previous experiences, competencies and learning acquired.

Once you decide to go for an RPL and contact us for the same, our counselors at RPL Me will provide you the enrolment form and also inform you about the basics of the process. At this step, you will also be counseled on the requirements of your particular case, which documents are required and so on.

You will now need to collect the necessary evidence as well as documentation to build your portfolio. The documents required might vary in accordance with your specific area of expertise and professional/academic background. Note that this step involves building up of your portfolio in two different ways, which include:
i) Documents and proofs of your previous experience in various forms
ii) Evidence of your work experience/abilities through practical simulation of job skill or an interview with the assessor and so on.
For a generalized, comprehensive list of such evidences and documents, go to our Evidences and Documents section.

Once done, our officers along with an RPL assessor will have an interview or conversation with you on your credentials, experience and competencies. This interaction might also be used to assess your current abilities besides serving to verify your previous qualifications. Go to Tips for Interview to know more on how to go through this step successfully.

This step is required when the assessor feels the need to take a practical assessment or verification of your skills. In such a case, your assessor will give you a short practical test related to your area of expertise or competency and assess you on the same.

As a final step, our assessors at RPL Me will inform you about the awarded qualification or unit of competency. We will also inform you about the details of gap training you might be required to take.
